The World of Atabey

We are Roger and Brayam, two Cuban brothers who share a deep passion for the art of massage. For over ten years, we’ve been dedicated to bodywork and manual therapies, and today, we’re excited to share everything we’ve learned along the way.

Some time ago, we decided to bring our knowledge and experience together and create something special here in Berlin, a space where you’ll find more than just a massage. What we offer is a truly personal, authentic, and deeply restorative experience.

Our sessions combine techniques like deep tissue, myofascial release, Thai massage, assisted stretching, and deep relaxation. Over time, we’ve refined this blend into our own unique method, always adapting to the needs of each person who comes to us.

Who is Atabey?

The name of our studio comes from a deep source of inspiration: Atabey is the mother goddess of water and fertility in Taíno mythology, the Indigenous people of the Caribbean. She represents feminine energy, creation, a deep connection to nature, and the healing power of water.

Although we do not come from a direct Taíno lineage, we share Caribbean roots and a genuine admiration for this ancestral wisdom. To us, Atabey is a symbol of respect for nature, for the body, and for the power of healing through simplicity and authenticity.
